What to send
Start with a clear photo of the label.
Add the manufacturer, model, serial or registration number, any battery or service date shown, and the date you need it back.
How service works
- Receive and assess.
We review your request and the equipment details you send.
- Register and schedule.
Each item is logged with photos, model or registration details, known dates and your timing.
- Service and update.
The agreed work is carried out and your vessel contact receives status updates along the way.
- Verify and return.
Completed work is checked before the equipment is handed back to you.
Send the equipment details first. The station will confirm scope, timing and records before intake.
Service context
Why this work matters.
A beacon spends years in its bracket doing nothing, which is exactly how its dates slip. Batteries expire, service intervals pass and registration details go stale — usually noticed the week before a survey.
We service EPIRBs and distress-signalling equipment at the Sint Maarten station, working brand by brand. ACR, Comet and Ocean Signal are on our authorized roster; other makes are confirmed by model before intake.
Battery dates, registration details and service requirements vary by beacon. Send us the label and timing first; we’ll confirm whether we can service that model before you bring it in.
Authorized service brands
Check your make and model.
Authorization can vary by product. Send the model number and we’ll confirm whether it can be accepted.
