Why this work matters.
Every cylinder that holds pressure carries a retest date, and past that date nobody should be filling it. Hydrostatic testing is how a cylinder earns its next fill: the shell is proof-tested and requalified against the standard stamped on its neck.
The markings decide everything — the test standard, the interval and whether we can accept the job at all. That is why we ask for photos before anything moves; it saves hauling a load to the station that cannot be tested here.
